Marty Jopson has a PhD in Cell Biology and builds science props, but he is best known for his regular appearances as the residence scientist on BBC One's The One Show. He does live stage performances around the UK, which involve naked flames and end in a loud bang. An All-round Science Bloke, Marty has been working in television for 18 years, since his first job building props, and has been performing stage science for 20 years.
