Bosnia and Herzegovina

Author(s): Tim Clancy

Travel

This fifth edition of Bradt's Bosnia and Herzegovina is the most comprehensive English-language guidebook available, from an experienced author who has lived and worked in the region for over 20 years. The coverage of the capital city Sarajevo is second to none. Not only does the guide feature smaller towns and villages off the beaten track, but it also goes into greater depth than its competitors, with more detail on the history, culture and sights, and more opinionated and entertaining reviews of hotels and restaurants. Also included are detailed information on national parks and the Via Dinarica walking routes that you'll find in no other book. Written in an engaging and colourful style that is rarely found in guidebooks, it sets out very deliberately to entertain as well as instruct.
